Slow cooker sweet BBQ meatballs

Delicious sweet BBQ meatballs in the slow cooker

Ingredients
  • 1 38oz Frozen Meatballs
  • 2 16oz Jars of Barbed Wire Sauces Sweet BBQ Flavor Medium or Tangy
Instructions
  1. Add meatballs and then add 24oz (1½ jars) of BBQ sauce into the meatballs. 

  2. Stir until coated throughout

  3. Cover pot and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5 hours or until meatballs are hot. Stirring occasionally. 

  4. When meatballs are done, pour remaining 4oz (half jar) of BBQ sauce over meatballs and stir. 

  5. Allow meatballs to cook for an additional 15 minutes on high or 30 minutes on low.

Servings: 4 people
Ingredients
  • lbs Thawed chicken wings flats or drumettes
  • 1 jar Barbed Wire Sauces Sweet BBQ Flavor Sauce medium or tangy
  • 1 tsp Ground Cayenne Pepper to sauce before proceeding Optional, for more heat
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven oven to 450 degrees

  2. Spread wings onto rimmed baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray

  3. Bake for 35 minutes and then drain

  4. Brush wings with BBQ sauce and bake for 10 minutes or until wings are done. (Use a ½ jar)

  5. Once wings are done, pour wings into a large covered container and add remaining BBQ sauce. 

  6. Shake to coat wings

  7. Allow wings to rest for 5 minutes with lid on container.

  8. Remove wings and serve with Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing. 

 

Barbed Wire Sauces Sweet BBQ Pulled Pork (Slow cooker)

Ingredients
  • 6-8 lbs Boston Butt (thawed)
  • ½ cup Dark brown sugar
  • ½ tbsp Granulated Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Coarse Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 4 oz Pure Apple Juice
  • 16 oz Barbed Wire Sweet BBQ Flavor Sauce (medium or tangy)
Instructions
  1. Combine brown sugar, granulated garlic, pepper, salt and cayenne pepper together to create a dry rub. Set aside

  2. Prepare Boston Butt by removing fat cap and any harden or thick pieces of fat you may find. 

  3. Rub dry rub over Boston Butt making sure all sides are coated evenly.

  4. Once Boston Butt is coated, place in a pan and allow to rest in refrigerator 6-8 hours for best results or 2-3 hours if you are in a rush. 

  5. Add apple juice to slow cooker

  6. Place Boston Butt into slow cooker, cooking on low (low and slow method). 

  7. Cook Boston Butt covered for 10-12 hours until meat pulls apart easily.

  8. Transfer meat to a cutting board and pull meat apart using two forks, removing all pieces of fat and gristle.

  9. Serve by itself or our personal favorite as a sandwich using potato buns.

  10. Add Barbed Wire Sweet BBQ Flavor Sauce over top of meat and enjoy. 

 

Barbed Wire Sauces BBQ Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf (oven)

Ingredients
  • 5 slices Thick cut bacon (maple or brown sugar)
  • 2 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ cup Barbed Wire Sweet BBQ Flavor Sauce medium or tangy
  • ½ cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Grease 9x11 inch baking dish

  3. Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat until edges just start to curl, about 1-2 minutes per side. 

  4. Drain bacon slices on paper towels. Reserve about 1 tablespoon of bacon drippings in the skillet. 

  5. Cook and stir onion and garlic in the bacon drippings until onion is softened, about 6-7 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. 

  6. Mix cooled onion and garlic, ground beef, ½ cup of BBQ sauce, bread crumbs, eggs, Worcestershire Sauce, Dijon mustard, oregano and chili powder together with your hands in a large bowl. 

  7. Form beef mixture into a log shaped meatloaf; place in the prepared baking dish. 

  8. Wrap partially cooked bacon slices around the meatloaf, tucking the ends of bacon underneath the loaf. 

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. 

  10. Brush bacon-wrapped meatloaf with 3 tablespoons of BBQ sauce. Continue baking until no longer pink in the center, about 10 more minutes. Add thermometer to ensure the center reads at least 160 degrees Fahrenheit  (70 degrees Celsius)

  11. Pour Barbed Wire Sweet BBQ Flavor Sauce over top of meatloaf.

  12. Rest for 10 minutes and serve.
